Our Pet Policy
We welcome your well-behaved pet at Island Chalet. The property is fully fenced. We do request your cooperation with the following, however
A number of sites on KI, such as Seal Bay, do not allow dogs. We prefer you do not leave your dog unsupervised at Island Chalet as, a determined dog may escape. If you need to leave your dog for some time, we suggest Jan’s Pet Care in Kingscote (8553 2489) or the local vet
Please bring your pet’s bed with you. They will be happier in more familiar surroundings
Pets cannot be allowed on the beds or sofas. We have a lint roller in the kitchen under the sink to remove any hair that has escaped
We provide doggie bags for your convenience in disposing of droppings
Please do report any damage to us straight away.
We regret that cats are not welcome at Island Chalet, due to our population of small nesting birds
